Oxenhope Pharmacy offers convenient and effective injectable weight loss drugs designed to help you take control of your health and reach your weight loss goals. This treatment is specifically designed to reduce hunger and regulate blood sugar levels, providing you with the support you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
How Do Injectable Weight Loss Drugs Work?
Weight loss drugs work by mimicking natural hormones in your body to suppress hunger and help you feel fuller for longer. When combined with a balanced diet and regular physical activity, this injectable treatment can accelerate your weight loss journey and improve overall health.
Oxenhope Pharmacy offers two different weight loss drugs:
- Wegovy – This contains the active ingredient semaglutide, a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist, which mimics the effects of a naturally occurring hormone that helps regulate appetite and feelings of hunger. It also reduces blood sugar levels by promoting the release of insulin when blood sugar levels are high.
- Mounjaro – This contains tirzepatide, a dual GLP-1 and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptor agonist. It is designed to help with weight loss by mimicking two hormones involved in appetite regulation: GLP-1 and GIP. These hormones work together to enhance feelings of fullness, reduce hunger, and improve glucose control.
Both drugs come with a pre-filled injector pen and are taken weekly by being injected in the upper arms, thighs or abdomen.
